"My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. The location was great. Lots of wonderful hiking trials in close proximity. My only suggestion to the owners is to give the house a good deep cleaning. Nonetheless,...

"This was hands down the best host I have ever encountered. Incredibly accommodating and so responsive. The property was well appointed right down to the nice soap and towels in each bathroom. It felt like you were staying at a family members home. We did lots of cooking and grilling and had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. "We had a lovely stay, the kayaks and canoe were the feature of one afternoon and we greatly enjoyed paddling around Lake Pauline and checking out both dam areas. The house is very clean and well maintained, we fell in love with all the windows and light coming in the bedroom across from the bathroom. The quick walk to the sugar house was a feature for my kids, they also loved having the wii in their room and playing Mario kart with their aunt/uncle."

"The stay was nice. The unit appears to have just been rehabbed with all new everything. Items that should be addressed are identifying the unit. That small number is not working. Can't be seen from the road or parking. Not handicapped friendly. Never found the pool, spa or other activities. Information should be provided in the unit. Overall I would recommend this unit. 4 🌟"

Spacious and clean and updated and modern. This was my first time doing it up line this vs hotel rooms. I will always use VRBO for our groups from now on. Everything was EXCELLENT!!!"

"This house is the perfect house for all reasons and all seasons! The owners have thought of everything, drawers are labeled, nothing is left to chance, everything is squeaky clean YET it feels like home. We stayed at Benton House the weekend my daughter defended her PhD at Dartmouth and the owners were kind enough to allow a small get-together at the house. The property is park like yet centrally located and a quick rail trail walk to Lucky’s (home of the best breakfast sandwich in the world)...

"Loved the historical charm and layout of the property. Check-in process was easy using the coded keyless entry. The backyard was enormous and we enjoyed the peace and privacy of the property. However, the gas grill was very dirty and needed a thorough cleaning before we could even use it. Also, the flavorizer/heat distribution bars were rusty and corroded and should be replaced. Excellent wi-fi in the farmhouse. Softest bed I've ever slept in, but I found it to be very uncomfortable. Nice flat...

"We loved our stay. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen ever. Better than being at home even! Really loved the porch area for storing ski gear. The hot tub felt great. Loved all the windows. So much light and great view. The only small draw back was it’s not a true ski in ski out. The trail is close but you do need to walk a bit to get to it. Overall we had a great visit and would stay here again!"

"The property was clean, spacious and had lots of natural light. It was very close (driving distance) to all we wanted to explore. It would have been nice to have more instruction on the heating systems and pellet stove. We read the stove manual, determined it needs cleaned (badly) so cleaned it after we unplugged the vacuum (it was totally clogged and full). I could not get on the review link for vacasa. King bedroom door lock doesn't work properly, and I had to buy more toilet tissue. "
