We, my spouse and I have been coming off and on to the Lighthouse Lodge and Cottages since 2015. This time we stayed on the Cottages side. First of all, there is a giant tree root that has completely raised the pavement into jagged edges, be careful or you may pop a tire. When we came back from our dinner Saturday night, the only parking spots available were filled with old furniture and trash cans. We went to the main registration office across the street and parked in one of three registration parking spots, then went to the registration office to let the evening Reg clerk know why we were parking there. She immediately said you can't park there; I have one guest after 10PM still coming in. I explained to her I would love to park at the cottages but there were none available, and she has three empty spots here and only needs one for registration. She so rudely said, you can just park on the street. I am not parking my $85,000 new car on the street. She said they do not guarantee us parking spots, and they could charge us $25 per day to park but they don't. Finally, she said OKAY just go ahead and park here in registration for tonight. Worst customer service ever!!!!! I would pay $25 a night if I was guaranteed a parking spot. The night registration clerk's attitude was appalling. The Lighthouse Lodge cottages are very rundown. The outside has been newly painted, but the inside needs painted badly, new upholstery and crank handles on our windows would not work.

Quaint property. Clean and easy access to both town and beach. Coffee available in lobby. Would stay again
