“Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Accademia vaporetto stop. Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works well, though the shower doors could use an upgrade.”

“This was our best stay in Italy! The apartment was spotless, everything felt brand new, and the beds, linens, and overall comfort were excellent. The shower was fantastic, and the air conditioning worked perfectly - which was incredibly important with temperatures around 100°F (38°C) outside. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our stay so much easier. “Finding a room for a family of 5 can be tricky. This place was very comfortable for us! Access was easy after receiving instructions. We enjoyed the quieter part of Venice with quick access to the waterways. Noel is very helpful with his suggestions and directions and cleans the rooms impeccably! There are wonderful restaurants close by. If you are coming during a busy season, make reservations. Sitting on our balcony during the rain was picturesque and a lovely option for us. Bathroom is……

“More an Airbnb than a traditional hotel (4 separate suites, we never saw another guest and the staff comes from off site) but very clean and nice, exactly like the photos. Very conveniently located in San Marco and walking distance to everything. The water taxi dropped us off and picked us up at Calle Dose, literally a 2 min walk to the front door. Beautiful bathroom, spacious room, big TV and very cool air. We had a few minor issues but the staff came and fixed immediately. They also offered……
