"Room clean "

"We had a great (partial) beach view from our room, even though we were on the street. It was really fun to be so close to the Boardwalk, even though the weather was rainy when we visited. Parking was on the interior of the hotel, and felt safe. It was very convenient to walk to Ideal and Firefish Restaurants - the hotel restaurant was being renovated. The staff was very friendly too. "

"Nice new hotel. Still working out the bugs. Third floor rooms all being repaired so some issue there. We sat in the restaurant for half an hour. It was fully staffed and not full but nobody ever came to take our order so we left. They charge $50 for parking plus $5 tax. Then they charge $50 resort fee with $6 tax. The resort is a small pool that was too full to lay out. Very few unobstructed ocean view rooms. Late checkout is $175 for two hours. Dream Inn is free. We stay at the Dream Inn a lot. Gave this place a shot but doubt we will return. "

"The staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy for me during my stay. If the lot gets full, there is paid street parking nearby. The location is also great and very close to the beach, which was super convenient. The main downside was that the walls were pretty thin, and there was a generator outside that made noise throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep at times. Overall, decent stay for the location and convenience, but light sleepers may want to keep the noise in mind."

"The rooms were clean but parking spots were small. For size reference, a Toyota Camry can barely make it in the spot while giving room to exit out the vehicle and avoiding door things. The place is 10 min from the Santa Cruz boardwalk which was convenient and 15 min to Capitola. Staffs were accommodating and the free breakfast was good. Overall great stay for a weekend getaway."

"Great location. Easy walking distance to beach and downtown. The room looked a little worn down and out dated. Thin walls. Was woken up and kept up by loud thumping/stomping noises all morning starting around 6am. "
