“Stay was really good just didn’t like that the property is literally closed after 12am , no vending no water even or access to food or anything. On the other hand hang with Lisa and Jay down at the pool bar they are great. Food is really tasty and room is very clean for check in. They don’t offer any cleaning during the stay however it’s fine to clean up behind myself lol. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well. “We stayed one night at this hotel and it was the worst experience of our life! We parked across the street of the Galleon Hotel and asked the check-in lady if it was ok to park there for the night. She stated it was not a problem. Upon check in our room was dingy, dusty and old with a shared bathroom. We asked to upgrade our room with a private bathroom and she said it would be $80 cash. “This was a wonderful property! It is definitely an older hotel- but that is the charm! The new owners are clearly taking loving care of it. In that district, everything is older, and it is very well maintained and clean. It is in a PERFECT location to talk to some great places to eat, shop, or get coffee. They helped us by holding our bags since we arrived early, getting our room ready ASAP, and calling a cab when it was time to go to the airport. It was just a wonderful experience and we would……

“This place is amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and make sure you feel welcomed at all times of the day. From the moment you enter the gate until the second you leave, you feel well taken care of. Also there are many amenities available. We enjoyed kayaking and hanging out on the beach and by the pool. There are many activities at the beach included in your room purchase that make it very worth it. We were happy not leaving the resort much at all.”

“Had a very nice time staying at Sapphire Resort. The sargassum was a bummer but the staff took very good care of it so the beach could still be easily accessible. My husband and I did hours of snorkeling and found some pretty neat fish/invertebrates. Our condo was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The bar and pool were also great. Would definitely do it again!”

“Overall the hotel was good but the seaweed smell was soooo bad that I would not stay there again. Also they do not offer any room service which was not the usual of tropical trip. Very big hotel so if you are not willing to walk 8-10 flights of stairs then this hotel is not for you”
