"I stayed in one of the annex rooms, in the exterior structure, and the only heads up I would offer to potential travelers is that sounds traveled rather freely between rooms through the shared wall. I enjoyed every other aspect of the hotel from the delicious dining options, it’s clean and comfortable room and dining areas, its proximity to the Highland nature and the friendly and helpful staff."

"The Luib was a little tired looking in places but only to be expected after all as this old drovers inn is around 400yrs old. The staff were friendly, helpful & very informative on the history of the place. The food was good especially the fab fresh fish & the cost of accommodation was very reasonable. Definitely would recommend staying here"

"It looks a bit dull from the outside. But the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff helpful. It is next to the Robert the Bruce monument and visitor centre and has lovely views out the back of the hotel. The hotel food was surprisingly good. There was a pipe band practicing upstairs when we were there and the staff took us up to watch. It was a highlight of our trip to Scotland."

"We stayed for one night to break a journey, very friendly staff food in bar very good. Rooms very dated and furniture old but it was acceptable, very quite location good nights sleep. Windows in the bed room opened lovely and wide so loads of fresh air on a hot night. Wonderful view of the Wallace monument. Did not have breakfast as early start.Loads of parking on site and not charged if you entered your reg at reception."
