“I arrived at this hotel at around 10:30PM on August 18 to check in to my reservation for my one night stay with my husband. The receptionist told me that there were no available rooms. She said the reservation I booked on Expedia should not have gone through. She also said that they were only allowing 3 night stays because they were busy for college move-in day. So I asked if they were still going to charge us and she replied no. We didn’t want to inconvenience her so we decided to stay at a……

“The room was freezing! No one wants to walk into a room that is 61 degrees. There is absolutely no reason to have the A/C that low. No extra blankets. No hot water - they did change our room only to find out the whole building was without hot water. Then there was the smoke detector with the absolutely piercing flashing light all night. No complaints about the staff and the breakfast was actually better than average, but that doesn’t make up for the horrible sleep before an early morning flight.……

“Property looked brand new and immaculate. It was everything we were looking for in a hotel for the evening. My wife and kids were very happy to stay here.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for visiting the Strong Museum. Food at breakfast was good. Food at in house restaurant was good. Beds are very uncomfortable. Bathroom sink did not drain, but fixed quickly once brought to attention of management. Floor in room entrance and bathroom was very dirty upon checkin. Asked for cleaning staff to clean it, but it was not addressed. Pool water was uncomfortably cold to swim in. Therefore unable to use the amenity more than……

“They don't have an elevator. The room was cleaned however it was not restocked with amenities. The front desk is maintained by signs not people.”

“Very cozy place that was a perfect distance to get to downtown Spencerport or some of the other restaurants down Ridge Road. Very clean room with an updated bathroom. It isn't a large room, but it was perfect for what we needed.”

“After staying in a “unique” or “historic” hotel in Toronto and it not being so nice, I was really hesitant and worried about my stay in Rochester at the lofts. The outside looked worrisome and the houses surrounding the school are not in great shape. But once inside, the room was absolutely incredible. So spacious and a full apartment perfect for a long term stay. Clean, organized, perfect for a stay. Would have been willing to stay longer just not on the itinerary”
