“Communication was great from the initial booking. Spacious, clean, and very private. Great accommodations and up to date appliances/furniture. Canoe is a lovely addition that we took pretty far down the river to explore. Would absolutely return and recommend to others!”

“We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. ”

“We really want to thank Jennifer and Gary for a wonderful place to stay! The home is beautiful in a very serene setting! When we checked in we thought it was way in the country, but it is actually very close to everything we needed and very close to all the historical parts of Williamsburg, Jamestown and York!It would be wonderful for several families with children to stay! Most of the bedrooms have private restrooms attached!Jennifer was very prompt answering any questions we had! Very nice...

“It was an amazing stay. We were welcomed into a perfectly immaculate home that was exceedingly quiet the whole time. They have so many wonderful amenities right there. The only thing that took me by surprise was that one of the rooms is more of a loft because it doesn’t have a door on it. ”

“Bee Haven is a charming cottage tucked away in the most quiet neighborhood in Gloucester. I really enjoyed having my coffee out on the front porch in the morning. The area is lovely to drive around in. There is a grove of pine trees in the back that sound amazing when the wind is blowing.”

"The hotel is located in an area close to many things. The cleanliness of the room was not good; one of the bed blankets had blood on it, as if it hadn't been changed. We were tired and didn’t have the energy to go to the main lobby to ask for a room change, so we opted to just request a clean sheet. There was hair in the bathtub, which makes me think it wasn’t cleaned very well. The beds were comfortable, but I don’t think they are queen size; they seem more like full size because they’re small. The air conditioning did not work well; it wasn’t hot, but it wasn’t cold either. I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone planning to stay for more than one day."
