Takakkaw Falls is an ideal place to begin your discovery of Columbia-Shuswap Regional District. This cascade of water is recommended by fellow travelers, but it isn't the only spot to see here. Really really lovely hotel. We had a top floor studio and the view across the city from our room was incredible. The hop on and off bus had a stop right outside so we explored the whole city really easily. The bar and restaurant served lovely food and drink and the staff were wonderful. Couldn't fault this hotel at all. Would definitely go back there.

Make the drive to see these falls! There is a switchback so if you are pulling a trailor you won't be able to make the turns.

It’s not a complete secret, but many people are not aware there is a second tea house in Lake Louise.
