"The property was well maintained and the upstairs was spotless. The kitchen, bedrooms, landry and living room were as described and in good condition. Lots of beach toys were available in the garage, which came in handy with my grandson. Unfortunately, the downstairs garage lights did not work which Carol reported to me. The only other issue was with the BBQ grill in the garage, which had some kind of white mold all over the inside, so we did not use it. Neither of these things impacted our stay as we were able to cook on the stove upstairs and used the garage mainly in the daytime with a door open so we could see to use the facilities. The only casualty during our stay was a white Mainstays dinner plate, which I dropped and it broke. We were able to setup a canopy on the beach at low tide during the day and play in the water. At night we took walks along the beach and looked for crabs. On Memorial day a neighbor even gave our group boiled crawfish, which was tasty and most appreciated. I would reccomend Carol's beach house for families with children, with the warning that there is a single lane sand and shell access road between the house and the beach. During the weekdays there was very little traffic and we saw the police monitoring this area alot, however, on the weekend the traffic increased as did the speed of the vehicles."

"This was a family vacation for us. The location was perfect. It was so easy to walk to the beach and walk back home. The outside shower was very helpful. There is only one restroom upstairs so it can get crowded but of course we already knew that. The second restroom is downstairs along with some beach toys the kids can use. That was perfect for us because we forgot to bring the kids sand toys! The TVs are a little old so they are frustrating to deal with. The AC worked great so we were able to stay cool and comfortable. The beds overall were ok. One of the beds in the bunk bed room really should be replaced. Overall very satisfied with our stay. The guest was friendly and reachable. We had no issues with our stay. We would definitely book again."

"First family vacation and it was amazing. Older home but had plenty of room and beach just out the back door with beautiful views. More silverware would have been nice but we made it work. Ron was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Would def stay again!"

"Salt Air Cottage tops the list in cleanliness, comfort and location. Cleanliness and comfortable beds are of upmost importance to us - I'm giving it 5 stars! We loved the covered porch, spectacular view and short steps to the beach. This home definitely has a coastal vibe that makes you feel far from home. Lovely little details will be memorable. If all of this wasn't enough, Stevie is the most gracious host ever. Thank you for our stay."

"This was a great property. It was clean and great for a big family. Plenty of kitchen equipment and pots and pans for cooking! Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms! Also, very close to beach. The outdoor space was also great for hanging out and enjoying the beach view."

"You absolutely cannot beat the location of this property. It was as described and had pretty much everything you need. The only problem we had was the lockbox to where the key for storage for the grill / other amenities (assuming washer and dryer) we could not get unlocked. Other than that, everything was awesome. Will be looking to stay at this property again."
