“Drury might not be a luxury hotel, but it is the most generous and responsible hotel I have ever stayed with. This hotel really complies its aim to create happy customers. In my view, they do it much better than those 4-star and 5-star hotels. Drury offers not only free hot breakfast, but also simple hot dinner (though they called it “snack”). “We came to see the Big Boy Steam Engine 250 America tour. Fairfield was the perfect place to stay. Very kind helpful staff, clean comfortable room and beds. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of choices. The best part was our city view room. Enjoyed the Wheel & Union Station Light show each evening right from our room. Plus it was an easy walk to Union Station. We definitely plan to stay again when we're in the St. Louis area.”

“The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Our only complaint was the parking. When we arrived, the check-in/valet parking was so crowded that we had no where to park. We circled the block a few times and then found off street parking about a block away. After we got checked in, we could park in the garage. Had it been better explained prior to arrival, it wouldn't have been as stressful.”

“The location of the hotel is perfect and is very clean and well maintained. The restaurant is expensive so we walked around the corner to Chili Macs for breakfast each day. The cost to park a car per day is expensive enough at $39 but the hotel initially charged me $117 per day ($39x3) for the 3 days for a total of $350 plus tax instead. Luckily I checked the receipt before I left. The hotel overall is very nice and centrally located, but review your receipt upon checkout for erroneous charges!”

“I booked a deluxe room through Expedia, but the amenities did not match the description of what I paid for. When I went to the front desk, they were very polite but not accommodating. So we get To the room, it is a small room, that looks like it hasn't been dusted in months. Went to fill the Ice container it had dust so thick I actually had to wash it with soap and water and really wipe it down. Then we had to go on a scavenger hunt for ice. We were on the 1st floor we had to stop at each level……

“Great place, will definitely visit again. Everyone was really nice, and I really appreciated that all the restaurants and the aquarium were all within the same complex. So I never had to get into my car. You did go to the arch and the zoo, and those were no more than 6 to 8 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.”
