“Lovely people, clean room but the room was sooooo hot and the towel rail was permanently on. No way of switching it off. The fan in the room was also a bit dodgy with the lead.”
“The location was good as close to Paddington station . The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lower floor room and we need to carry our luggage through the narrow stairs. Also if we want to have air conditioning, need to pay extra 10 pounds .
The layout of the room was very crowded with 5 beds and no desk and chair to work.
The water outflow of the shower very slow, so water got accumulated. Also we could hear the noise of the underground and train.”
“Even though we booked a “Grand Queen” room for 3nights. Quite sometime ago, we were provided smaller room. As I have a fractured foot I wanted to have the space and armchair which was shown on their booking list. We did ask nicely to swap and they did change kindly but excactly the sale size room, just one floor above. Almost they could not careless. And even though they will take care of my luggage while swapping rooms, it was not there when I re-checked in and the person who did say he would……

However this is an old hotel, most of the lifts are out of service for my entire trip (8 days), and I was even trapped in the lift for few mins.
Besides, the housekeeper is impolite and he felt annoyed when my husband requested for the wrong item. ”
“The location is exceptional, situated in close proximity to Paddington station. However, I was unaware that every underground pass causes the entire room to vibrate. It is possible that this is due to my room being situated on the ground floor. Additionally, my room is conveniently located near a coffee machine. Even when guests check in at 1:00 AM, the reception staff remains remarkably friendly and provides directions to the coffee machine. Furthermore, I am able to hear all conversations……
