“Bridgepointe has come back strong after being hammered by Hurricane Florence. The storm took out the hotel's marina, and its future is still in question, but everything else was top-notch. It's close to everything, has great views, service was superb and property was spotless.”

“Front desk guys were rude. No elevators i had my cart ,told them I have cancer and a bad back how am I gonna get the cart upstairs and they shrugged their shoulders. Do rude. They soldered the bathtub stopper so u can't pull it up or down and take a bath, only a shower. The washer destroyed my clothes and stole 8$ of my quarters and they said they had nothing to do with the washer and dryer! And pool was about the size of a kiddy pool. Not worth the price. That's ridiculous and they lied ,they……

“The room was not clean: the floor was gross, there was dog hair on the sheets and pillow cases, the shower had hair and it was stopped up and flooding. The staff was okay.”

“My husband and I stayed here for the weekend with our two children. It was quiet, and pretty clean. You could tell they are still in the process of making improvements to the place. But for the price we paid, it was better than expected. We also really only needed a place to shower and sleep the rest of the time we were on the beach or at the park across the street. It was a nice little weekend getaway.”

“Everything was great with two exceptions ice machines should be on every floor, my wife had her shoulder replaced and getting ice on the first floor from the fifth floor was a chore. “This hotel and it's staff were very helpful to my wife and I during a very difficult time. Booked this hotel during my mother's funeral and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. 3 days straight our flights back to Rhode Island was canceled due to lack of an itinerary and all 3 times they accommodated our stay on a moments notice. Not only did we have to rebook the room, we had to rebook our rental as well. We became so well known to staff that it felt as though we knew them……

“Not a great experience- we will not return. Location of property not where we expected- would select a room located in town with walking distance to shops and sites next time. Access to property difficult. Climate control of overall property hallways and room had a damp feel in the air. King bed was lumpy. Toilet ran extremely slowly after a flush and was basically non-functioning - ick. Use of first floor public restroom as a back up was equally disappointing as that area was filthy - no one……

“Pleasant unit and complex. Nice walk around lake. Rec center pool enjoyable Minor and moderate problems. 1of 2 major windows opaque Took a day to get sink disposal repaired. 2 of 4 days no WiFi. No coffee filters nor salt and pepper. Jetted tub could not be filled above jets with hot water -ran out”

“Everything is perfect. The location, the staff, the food, and the house itself. Definitely will stay there again if we go to New Bern again.”

“This property was a delightful place to stay. I have rated as 5-star across the board. The only detraction was that the majority of the house is on a single thermostat, thus you cannot control the temperature in your room and our room was cooler than we would have preferred. We were told that if we were to stay here again, ask about the one or two rooms that DO have a separate thermostat.”
