“We loved our stay here! The location was perfect for the event in Frankfort we came to town for, a short drive to Frankfort downtown and beach. It's in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to nature trails. Erin's communication was friendly with quick responses. The cottage was very clean & new with cute decor, and well equipped with everything we needed for a stay. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the northern lights dance above the treetops our last night there. It's a wonderful……

We are a retired couple. Had no issues navigating stairway to reach entrance. Situated on a very nice, very walkable street. 5-minute walk to Frankfort Beach. Quick walk to Main St. - very close to excellent restaurants, bakeries and ice cream shops! Excellent value for comfort, cleanliness, convenience……

“This was a perfect spot for a family vacation. The house was very clean and well stocked. We had a great time doing everything from exploring the hikes and beaches in Sleeping Bear dunes, lots of kayaking, family games and meals around the large table, s'mores and star gazing by the fire by the lake...Thank you!”

“House was clean and had everything you needed. It was a great location! Less than 10 minute walk to all the Crystal Mountain shops, golf, restaurants, pool, etc. Great for kids! Had a nice basement with a couch and TV, bedroom with a few beds, and full bathroom. 4 kids slept down there. Overall, it was a great stay and we would come back!”

“Wonderful stay. I don't think I have ever been so comfortable (and slept well!) in a rental property. It was perfect for our family and my girls are already asking to go back. Truly steps to the beach and downtown, we have a 4 year old and a two year old and easily took the wagon to the beach and walked downtown. Hope to be back next summer!”

“Amazing for families and younger kids with the beach area, shallow waters, and big yard. The cottage is far from the main road which was a concern with littles and offered a lot of privacy. My family and I have taken vacations every year and this was one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in & the beds were very comfortable! ”

“The cabin was clean and cozy. The host was very helpful. The bathroom was surprisingly large and modern. Even though the cabin is on a busy road, the big evergreen tree and privacy fence providers privacy. We had the fan on at night, so the road noise did not affect us. The cabin is close to Frankfort, Honor, Beulah, Benzonia, Empire and Sleeping Bear Dunes! We would love to stay here again at Carol’s Cabin.”

“This was absolutely perfect for a golf weekend at Crystal. There was room on the property to hang out outside, and inside there was plenty of room for 10 people to comfortably relax after a day of golf. Ed was great answering my questions leading up to the stay, and they had a minor issue after the previous guests checked out and had someone out to fix it that afternoon. Extremely responsive hosts, and the property was very well represented in the listing, no surprises. I would highly……
