“Staff welcoming, clean neat motel. Breakfast was adequate had coffee several choices on juice, waffles, yogurt, muffins and cereal. The retro look was neat. Even microwaves were retro. Room had microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Should I ever be in Silver City again will definitely stay at LuLu”

“Horrible experience, was in town due to my sick father and tried to check in late. I was unable to check in due to the time and I was still charged for the stay. Filed a claim to get reimbursed due to the situation of being at the hospital with my father and the property denied my claim and kept my money.”

“My husband and I traveled to New Mexico and checked into this hotel on October 8,everything is great! Especially the breakfast kitchen waitress, she is so warm and thoughtful ,worth of praise! ”

“NEVER again. The hotel did not have the room I reserved. They tried to switch me to another room without the amenities I needed. The front desk staff simply said, "We don't have the room available that you booked." The staff seemed unconcerned about addressing the reservation problem and finally offered to cancel the reservation. I arrived around 5 pm, with two young children and was faced with the possibility of no place to sleep for the night. The hotel staff did not offer to help me find……

“The place was so flity and dirty. The bed was hard and restroom was dirty. No remote in the room. It looked like the sheets were dirty. The staff were not helpful.”

“It was nasty, dirty , smelly. Unkept. Toilet had poop streaks inside the bowl and on the seat!!!”

“Love this quaint little place. Everything was wonderful. . We did have a little trouble with access and the door lock.”

“Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and would stay there again. Two minor concerns: There are several dogs in the area, and their barking can be an annoyance until the quiet down later in the evening. Use of the kitchen is limited by the fact you can only operate one electrical appliance at time. The cook top is a hot plate and there are a toaster oven and a microwave, so you have plan out the sequence you cook your food if you want to pan fry, bake and warm up something for a meal.”

“Amenities were as described and host was most gracious. The in residence dog, Blue, was a friendly addition to our stay of 3 nights. Relaxing soak in hot tub and hummingbirds were a daily treat. Would highly recommend this location as the retreat it promises and we will stay again when back in Silver City area.”
