“Cute little cabin for a quick weekend get away. Perfect location for us to go fish during the day at the lake, then head up to Knoxville for a race! Great hosts. Clean. Quiet town. Would stay again! We slept downstairs since the bed is right by the stairs upstairs, and I get up several times in the night and the ceiling is a bit low for us tall people up there. Overall a good stay.”

“All and all the stay was almost perfect. Our daughter rented a cabin across the way that was dog friendly. A few small inconveniences need to be address by the property owner, lightbulb on the microwave to the stove is out, downstairs toilet runs frequently, reclining chair is broken and does not lock up after foot rest is extended. However all of these were small and did not interrupt our vacation weekend. Lovely cabin. ”

This is handicap accessible, but the beds are high off the floor and bathroom did not have bench or zero entry, this was addressed by the owner, and it was not a problem for us. This cabin is easy to find, easy parking with a boat. Has everything you need for a stay at Lake Rathbun. The owners were exceptionally kind and responsive, very accommodating. The newly planted flowers on the deck were a welcoming sign when we arrived. Very comfortable, easy……

“A well supplied kitchen utensils and pans etc. However, the filter in the refrigerator for ice and water dispensers needed to be replaced, so it didn’t function. A great stay!”
