5/5 Excellent
"While the rooms were clean, i noted that the hair dryer had some hair entangled in it from a previous occupant. Other than that, this was an above average stay in Hill City, SD. The body wash, body lotion, shampoo snd conditioner was available in plenty. The front desk people were super friendly and nice ensuring a fast check in even when we were there 1 hour before check-in time. Highly recommended for Mount Rushmore visit, Black Hills and the Badlands national park."

"The lady at check in was very pleasant. The lovby looked clean. The dining area was clean. We wrnt to our room, which was also very clean. We made use of the refrigerator since we were just passing thru the area. Both the fridge and freezer worked great. Microwave also worked. Bathroom was clean.
Had the breakfast the next morning. There was juice, coffee, yogurt, bagels, muffins, bread, biscuits & gravy, cereal and hard boiled eggs. Only thing missing was fresh fruit.
Wed definitely stay here again."

"This is a newer hotel and it shows. Staff was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. A few random things to note: the front door is not automatic which makes it interesting to get luggage inside on a windy day. The elevator is the size of a postage stamp which only matters if you are trying to bring luggage up. The architect should be flogged for the design. Custer is a tiny town so the hotel is close to everything. "
