“We absolutely loved our stay at Bigfoot Lodging Cottage #2 It’s a very authentic cabin in the woods experience. The original vintage wood interior and squeaky wood floors added a lot to the ambiance. Plenty of outdoor space for grilling steaks or making campfire s’mores. The grounds are fun and funky with lots of interesting things to see including a pond and creek. The family that runs it is warm and accommodating with a small store that sells drinks and snacks. “House warm and welcoming upon arrival. It was 67 degrees inside, and mid-30's outside. Neighborhood is very dark! but the porch light assisted us to see the home from the street. Beds were clean and a good size w/plenty of pillows. Tons of towels as well. Hot water is very hot and doesn't take long! So be cautious (caught me off guard a few times) but never ran out of hot water. The ability to adjust the heat in different rooms was helpful, as there are 3 mini-splits. The unit had everything we needed, the bed was super comfy, and it was really clean. Check-in/out instructions were clear and very simple.
