“We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.”

“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “While we were only able to stay one night due to our plans to travel up the Coast of California, we truly enjoyed everything about the quant and laid back lodging near the Russian River. Close to town, but still far enough down the road to feel the getaway vibe. Loved the huge Redwood trees, smores at the fire pit, and an amazing grab and go style breakfast, which we enjoyed back at our room. Would stay here again without hesitation! Great Place!”

“Nice location. Nice staff. Unfortunately the bungalows are very overpriced for what you get and there was a lot of loud noise coming from the water heaters next to us. No AC was a bummer as it was scorching hot in our bungalow during the day.”

“Cute little cottage overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed our stay from the moment we were greeted by the friendly and hospitable front desk agent. Our room was comfortable. A sliding glass door opened to a small patio with chairs and ocean view. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was large with a huge, deep tub. There were eating utensils, had we wanted to enjoy a snack on the patio. There was also a spa area - also with ocean view. There was a Cafe across the highway which, until we ate most of them,……

“We were there for 2 nights. We did not have a good meal at all. The first night I had the $48 steak and my husband had the risotto. I asked for medium and it was Cooked well done. My husband’s meal wasn’t cooked all the way. The rice was crunchy. The staff wasn’t very helpful. Once you get your food you never see them again. I didn’t feel comfortable complaining to them because they just looked unhappy. The next night we tried the burgers thinking you can’t mess that up to much. It……

“advance notice on checkin should be shared earlier. The property has poor wifi- could not connect at all. I had to leave the property to connect. I have two cell phones and neither one connected. Because of limited wifi connection, you should share advance checkin code to avoid these issues upon arriving.”
