“We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dega very much! Clean, big room, comfortable beds and a wonderful view of the Bay!”

“Lovely lodge right in the center of quaint Occidental. 2 minute walking distance to most restaurants and markets. We had an updated room and it was fresh and was a non-pet use room, which is nice for those with sensitive pet allgergies. Very comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Sometimes front desk is unmanned so review check in/check out instructions.”

“We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.”

“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot……

“The Boho Hotel should be called the Hobo Hotel because the rooms are dirty and rundown. The bathroom had water damage and mold growth near the shower. The carpets had stains on them, and the front entry door was warped. The place was short-staffed, and those folks seemed overwhelmed and didn't have any answers. They were completely clueless. Hobo hotel fees were obscene, given the lack of quality of the rooms. The cocktails were expensive and seemed to be missing some key ingredi ents.”

“Visited for the first time with 6 of my girlfriends and had the best experience. Property is perfectly located, staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. We will continue to visit in the future and pass the word out. Cheers to 2026!”

“There was no staff, at least visible. Check-in happens at exactly 4pm, before that time the front desk is closed. After that I never saw anyone. The room was very cleaned and contained all the desired amenities. Coffee makes, microwave oven, glassware, iron & board. Internet was spotty and dropped quite often. Also latency was very low, which caused some services that I needed to use to not work at all.”
