“Very comfy bed... clean room and nice tea tray. Shower takes a moment to get working but probably as the building is old but this gives it charm. Will definitely stay again :-) ”

“Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. ”

“Very good evening meal, food was excellent with a reasonable choice of dishes, we had a sea view which was lovely with a little balcony. Hotel is quite tired, but comfortable and the staff are amazing and a superb location with plenty of parking which you have to pay extra for.”

“This was by far and away the Best Hotel that I and my brother in law plus wives have ever stayed in for a short break. The food including evening meals were of a quality seen on Masterchef. The staff were so professional and made every effort to make our stay memorable, nothing was too much trouble. No I am not related to the owners but Fantastic is how I would explain this experience. “Ibis did not provide breakfast on day 1 and we had to go next door to the sister hotel Mercure. Following day Ibis was supposed to provide breakfast but when we went down tables hadn't been cleared and there was little food. We were told there was a problem with the kitchen and we had to go next door again to the Mercure. That night we went to the bar and it was covered in dirty glasses and the girl behind the bar was barely coping. They seem to have a shortage of staff or at the very least……

“Sam ( Manager), was very welcoming ,approachable and knowledgeable about the hotel and area. The bedroom was immaculate , there were plenty of warm drink provions, soft towels and toiletries provided. Our breakfast foods were fresh& tasty- there was a variety of cereals if you wishes, cooked breakfast, warm and cold drinks. Parking is at the front of the hotel and only £6 per night. All of the staff were very friendly and we would definitely recommend staying there. The sea is accords the……
