“If you love Christmas, you'll love this lodge! It really puts you in the holiday spirit. My grandson especially loved the fishing pond, and we all had a great time in the arcade. The lodge is a bit dated, and the beds weren't very comfortable, but the friendly staff and the great breakfast helped make up for it. Overall, it's a fun place to stay, especially if you're looking for a festive atmosphere.”

“Keys to the room continuously did not work properly, there was construction inside the building, trash cans overflowing at breakfast, etc. The only positive thing I can say was the front desk young lady was wonderful and tried her absolute best to make everything as accommodating as possible.”

“Our bathroom was not cleaned and there were still dirty towels that were hanging on the wall, the back of the door, and over the shower curtain rod. There was a used soap in the shower with a piece of trash from an unknown container. This also made us worried for the fact that there could have been a possibility of our sheets not being clean.”

“It was the busy season for this location due to its being close to an amusement & water park. The weather had been rainy and hot, so the rooms felt damp and you had to leave the room air on higher cold to help offset the dampness. Thus the floors and everything felt damp & grimy…didn’t have an issue with my bed and the cleanliness of it or the bathroom area.”

“There is so much to do at the campground, mini golf, Gem mining, pools, water slides, several basketball courts and playgrounds. Let's not forget the arcade. The cabins are perfect for families. You are close to your neighbors, but we are all there for 1 reason our kids to have an awesome time. We took chalk with us and had all the neighbors and people driving by sign the street and the parade on a Tuesday was awesome. The food at the little snack kitchen was very good. “Our room had an infestation of spiders. Upon checking the mini fridge it was found to have food/drink residue and hadn’t look liked it was ever cleaned. The overall cleanliness was poor across the whole motel. Would not recommend staying there!!”

“Overall better than my last visit to a Quality Inn, room clean, the man when I checked in wasn’t fluent in English and seemed like he was annoyed. Later when I returned from where I visited, the older Indian couple were very friendly and asked if everything was good. The pool and the outside of building was pretty run down looking, but I don’t normally use the pool anyway. “The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was out of order (and small), so my kids were bummed out. Breakfast was provided, not necessarily good, but was available in a pinch. Unless there was a town further south, this place is in the middle of nowhere, so don’t expect to be able to get a quick bite to eat or a drink. “We were very excited for our first family trip with our one year old for Christmas but there were too many roaches for us to feel comfortable even staying one night. We did get our money back except for the first night, which we never stayed, however, the cabin was nice other than that. ”

“The host seemed fine in the beginning but we encountered a terrible bug infestation inside the cabin we had fly's, beetles, and lady bugs, all over the cabin and falling from the cracks of the cabin into our beds and luggage. And we had to buy spray just contain them for our stay but i dont feel compensated fairly for the inconvenience. They only offered 70 back for a 3 night 4 day booking...thats probably why all the cabins where empty, but the one we rented..Also the heating situation……

“The sleeping area itself was beautiful. It has a full sized bed and two twin beds. If you are not straight and white you will be off put by the confederate and other very political flags hanging from the house in the driveway. We did find some bullet casings in the grave next to our car so if you have little ones you might not want to let them walk around by themselves. Doug was very kind.
