“We had a short weekend trip to Des Moines. We typically get a place in the burbs, but wanted something downtown this time. This was a good choice and will likely do it again. Clean, quite considering on Grand Ave., nice appliances, etc. Very nice to have private garage. Beds were a hair firm for me, but not bad. Not an issue for our group, but for those less mobile folks there are lots of stairs. My only knock is that in Iowa there are many more cooler nights than warm and it would be a huge……

Coming from Texas with my family to stay in a house, but when I get there, host tried to put me and family in an apartment complex that looks like it it low income and is sorrounded by abandoned buildings. “We had a big group of girlfriends stay in this awesome place for two nights. We parked and were able to walk everywhere to the local East Village bars, restaurants and shops. This is a great location. The space was beautiful! Very well decorated, very clean, plenty of space for all of us. Fun touches like ping pong and bags. We would definitely return! Wished we could have taken advantage of the great rooftop space but we picked February in Iowa to come. This would be a great hangout area in……

Only one small issue and that was getting into the building for the first time, once in the building it was easy to access during the stay with the key fobs provided for access and parking. Very nice building located within walking distance of everything downtown Des Moines had to offer.”
