“Slips are convenient, safe - gas and diesel are available as well as fresh water. Cabins are clean and the AC super cold. It's the quieter side of the river, so to speak.. not quite as crowded and low key. There's a restaruant/bar onsite (not open Mon/Tue) which is nice if you'd like a drink. As of this writing (6/2026) you can see that there are still post-hurricane renovations going on, but still a great stay.”

“I love small older family owned hotels and this was the best of the best. Wonderful staff and owner, nice room, great pool and it is on a hill looking down onto the riverfront where they have a bait, tackle and gift store with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there both days, it was very good with homemade biscuits. You can put your boat in right there, and several other restaurants in walking distance. We had a great stay and they have a full coffee pot in each……

“My overnight stay was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only bug was that I could not get my room key card to unlock the door. My wife's key worked. I have stayed in several hotels in Perry. This hotel was by far the best if you are willing to pay more to get a quality stay.”

“This is a cute little place thats a great option for people who dont want to stay in a hotel or are traveling with pets. It was clean and had everything we needed. The host was very communicative and responded quickly. ”

“The woman that checked us in was a pleasure! She was very helpful. The hotel was quiet and bed comfortable . But - coffee maker in room didn’t work and there was something sticky gross on the wall. Housekeeping could have cleaned it. Breakfast was just coffee and a danish. 🙁”

“Cute and clean cottage on a quiet street. Just as described. We enjoyed the nautical decorations and appreciated that the light switches were labeled. Great for a weekend fishing trip to Steinhatchee. ”

“This is the perfect getaway for a single person or a couple. The area is so peaceful and the property was well maintained and clean. I loved that I could take my fur babies and they enjoyed their time here as well. We saw all kinds of wildlife; manatees, pelicans, alligators and the fishing was amazing. We were able to sit on the covered porch almost all day and the view for grilling and eating our meals outside could not have been any more perfect. I would give this a 12/10 and cannot wait for……

“The host and other visitors were all very friendly and helpful. The room had all convientices with a fridge. microwave, and a sofa, even a round table with two chairs. Could stand to be updated but the bed was comfy and as a woman traveling alone- I felt good. Thank you”
