"We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it! The house is updated, immaculate and fully appointed. It is well laid out with very comfortable furniture. There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area."

"Property is a convenient 5 minute walk to the heart of Warren Street. Home was as described - clean & cozy with a nice porch and ample parking for several cars. Only suggestion would be to trim the trees that block the view of the Hudson … if they are on the property. We visited in the Spring when the leaves were on the trees. The.view of the Hudson might be fine in Winter."

"My partner and I absolutely loved Brook Cottage. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The cottage is warm, cozy, and very clean. The location couldn’t be better- we’d walk to the market and bakery everyday. We enjoyed cooking more than going out. Judy and Chelsea were attentive and easy to communicate with. We were able to really unplug and slow down, we had an absolutely wonderful stay."

"This cabin is well lit, insulated, plenty of natural light, heated tile floors, comfortable bedding, extra sleeping arrangements, hot tub was clean, hot, and ready, the fire pit and grill were awesome to have, the hosts were super friendly, and last but not least, the location is perfect. Nestled between the mountains on a small main road in the middle of the mountains, very quaint. Will be booking again"

The cottage is thoughtfully decorated (lots of hooks!) and had everything we needed for our stay. Laurie was a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, had great recs for hikes and dining and even made sure we knew about a local fireworks show! "I’ve read some other comments about this being an older property. Honestly, any motel is going to be older. I found this motel to be in very good condition overall. My room was very clean and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with all of the typical hotel items. The kitchen was stocked with most anything you would need, though I only stayed one night and did not cook. The back yard was full of several small decks, grills, and other items that would allow you to enjoy a summer evening...
