"We booked this property on a mission to go to Emerald Hollow Mine. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone kept saying it was one of the best stocked rentals we've been to. Plenty of seasonings which is a rare find with rentals! We enjoyed the porch and firepit. Would definitely rent again when we go back!"

"While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby."

It provided a very relaxing and restful place to stay after our tiring days activities. Sharon was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. She provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our special occasion. We would definitely check to see if this cottage was available if traveling in the area."

"The open concept kitchen-living-dining was perfect for our family gathering. The house appeared to be less than 5 years old and is a perfect “movie like” neighborhood. They also decorated it for Christmas with a tree and a wreath along with a few pieces here and there made our Christmas to New Year’s Eve celebration even homier. Our concerns were minor: have 2 sets of towels for all 8 guests, add enough plates, cups, mugs, salad plates and silverware for 12, add kitchen towels, add a pizza...

"This is a beautiful spot! It rained and stormed our entire weekend there but we were still able to sit under the gazebo on the dock and have a relaxing weekend away. The host was courteous and allowed us our privacy but was available if needed. The neighbor was kind as well. They left us a basket of snacks and a couple of bottles of water which was appreciated since we arrived later in the evening. The living area is well equipped and has everything you may need.
