"Junebug Cottage was a top notch place to stay and we enjoyed every minute of it! It is clean, well kept, and has everything needed for your stay. John is very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We loved the space and even spent some time reading on the back patio. Definitely recommend this place!"

"Amazing place! So cozy and comfortable. Close to so many trails. We dropped off the kids at Hunter Mountain to snowboard both days and went for 2 amazing hikes. Perfect bluebird days! Will definitely be back!"

"This cabin is well lit, insulated, plenty of natural light, heated tile floors, comfortable bedding, extra sleeping arrangements, hot tub was clean, hot, and ready, the fire pit and grill were awesome to have, the hosts were super friendly, and last but not least, the location is perfect. Nestled between the mountains on a small main road in the middle of the mountains, very quaint. Will be booking again"

"We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it! The house is updated, immaculate and fully appointed. It is well laid out with very comfortable furniture. There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area."

"This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. The hot tub is great after skiing all day and the house had everything we needed for our stay. I especially loved that there were plenty of beds, a full bath on each floor, and comfy throw blankets. "We spent 3 days at Jim and May's place - it was the first time we had gone away since our new baby arrived. It was the perfect spot for a few days to enjoy the beauty of the Ashokan Reservoir and the fun of Woodstock (only a 20 min Dr) Jim and May were so gracious, super communicative and were the perfect hosts. The outdoor space with a porch swing was so enjoyable for our little one. It was also super dog friendly which is so so hard to find up in the Hudson valley."

"We always enjoy returning to Brook Cottage Too so much. I feel myself relaxing as soon as we pull in – there is just such a peaceful vibe. Sitting on the little private patio, gazing out towards Overlook Mountain, is a particular favorite. You're close enough to everything in the village (you can walk to all the shops and restaurants), yet it still feels private. We can't wait to return!"
