"What a beautiful cottage. The view is from the yard, and looking through the windows of the back of the house, as well as on the deck are amazing. The kitchen is well stocked, and the beds are really comfortable. Others have commented about the slanted ceiling in the bathroom. Unless one is spending an extended amount of time in front of the mirror, the bathroom was just fine. A really nice shower and updated fixtures. We loved our stay!"

"This was the 50th Thanksgiving celebration! All family and friends camp at Wrights Beach. Some of us are "older" now and enjoy more comfort. This home is perfect for location and VIEW! We hope to return many times."

"We came as a family with couples and kids to celebrate my mom’s 70th and it was the perfect place. The views of the river and ocean were spectacular. We loved the hot tub and seating areas on the deck. Also loved walking down to Cafe Aquatica for snacks and drinks and wine tasting. The house was clean and spacious. Perfect for a family gathering, but also enough separate spaces for those who need a little social downtime. "

"Our multi-generational family loved our stay at Castle Crag! The view from the living room and the deck was amazing. We loved watching the light change and birds flying by. The location was fantastic, being able to walk to the river/Cafe Aquatica for lattes and lunch, and then just a short drive to stunning beaches and hikes. The beds and rooms were comfy. We'd very happily return."

"If I could give 100 stars I would. The views are absolutely spectacular, the location is perfect for quiet beaches, easy to difficult hikes and gourmet to funky restaurants overlooking the Russian River. The cottage has an incredible wrap around porch, outdoor barbeque fire pit area and wonderful indoor ambience that included a fully stocked kitchen, three comfortable bedrooms, beautiful shower with heated toilet seat, high wooden ceilings and fantastic brick fireplace with a big flat screen television above it. But given all of that the best part are the wonderful responsive hosts. They made our stay easy, comfortable and enjoyable. We just finished our third stay and already have booked our fourth in October 2026. If you are considering staying, don't hesitate. Just hit the booked button."
