"Shibari Tulum is MAGICAL. The pictures don’t even do it justice. The resort is beautiful, relaxing and fun and the staff is overly friendly and accommodating. Fernando, Danny, George, Jorge, Natalia, Yahaira, Francisco, Karla, and all the other Shibari staff made our weeklong stay absolutely perfect. We celebrated our engagement there, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful note when we entered. The cenote is breathtaking and one the coolest places I’ve ever swam. Be sure to ask for goggles to get the full cenote experience. The beach is 2 minute walk and they have amazing partnership with nearby beach clubs where you can relax on beach chairs or a cabana for free. The town outside of the resort is SO COOL, clean, safe, and so fun! Shibari is right next to a police station with armed guards so you know it’s safe. THE FOOD IN TULUM, especially Shibari, was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Any review that says the music is too loud at Shibari, is just confusing to me. It’s completely silent and peaceful all morning and early afternoon, and then a DJ plays chill vibe type music for a few hours at the Cenote, which we absolutely loved as we hung, had drinks, and ate near the cenote. The rooms are pristine and they have complimentary turn down service multiple times per day. The air conditioning in the room was AMAZING and kept us cold during 98 degree nights! Be sure to take a free Yoga class as well, it is so relaxing. Cannot wait to come back!! "

"The resort was beautiful but much smaller than other Dreams resorts we’ve visited and ironically, the Mexican restaurant was closed most of our stay. They could add a game room or larger sports bar for a better experience. Also, there is concrete under the sand on the beach, which was odd."

"I recently stayed at the Secrets Tulum Resort and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is new and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and modern environment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The amenities at the resort were good, offering a variety of options for relaxation and leisure. The food was enjoyable, particularly at the Grill restaurant, which served tasty dishes. One issue I encountered was the noise from the sports bar in the evenings. My room was nearby, and the noise level was quite high, which could be disruptive. Overall, Secrets Tulum Resort is a nice place to stay, with good facilities and excellent service. Just make sure to ask for a room away from the sports bar if you prefer a quieter stay."

"BE Tulum was on my list for a long time. It was all I have expected. Only things that were missing: Iron - Iron board No kettle or coffee machine. This was a big missing part. Also slippers can be given as floor is all natural. I think this could have been complimentary."

"The Kimpton Aluna was a great place to stay near the beaches and DT Tulum. Rooms are spotless and friendly for the price. The food here was delicious. They also have a social hour every day with free drinks and food. Helpful staff that will help you reserve excursions or restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place. FYI, the area around it is under construction, so it might feel a bit undone. I'm sure in a few years this area will transform. "
