Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, excellent daily room services, too far from everywhere though, wish the employees were a lil more friendly, other than that good experience

Would Recommend Villa Del PalmarPosted Jul 26, 2014
Cons: Sea weed on beach.
Location is a little remote, but great facility! They do stress the timeshare part of their property, but that would be the only fault I found. Pools, rooms, restaurants are very nice.. The beach is average because its location vs the other side of Cancun you don't get the waves, and lots of sea weed on the beach. We knew this going in, so not a huge deal if you know there is a difference based on what side of Cancun you stay. Good times, and entertainment was nice every night as well.

Nice hotel off the stripPosted Jul 26, 2014
We enjoyed the stay off the strip as we are a little older and enjoyed the peace and wasn't interested in the night life. Was burdened by having to sign everywhere we went. Also, if booking anything through the hotel make sure to get a confirmation email and number as well as wrote down who you spoke with.

Close to the beach.Posted Jul 26, 2014
Noise all night long could not sleep any night. Far from town. Dirty pools. Not much choices to eat.

Beautiful hotel, great for family vacation w/ kidsPosted Jul 26, 2014
We arrived to out hotel before 4pm, our room wasn't ready but because of inconvenience they upgraded us at not addtl charge to a 1 bedroom suite with a jacuzzi. The room was beautiful with a balcony and view to the ocean. We loved the hotel so much that we got a time share. We had all inclusive loved the food and drinks. Thanks to Karla at sales for everything, also to all the crew at the hotel who was friendly and very kind. We will definately be going back.

Avoid at any cost!!!Posted Jul 22, 2014
I've traveled to Mexico 5 times in my life. NEVER have I had such a bad experience. The staff was unfriendly, the service was the worst, and the food made me ill. Don't plan on leaving the hotel because town is an hour away. The water in the pools were too warm and dirty except in the one reserved for "exclusive members." They don't tell you till you get there but you have to sit through a 90min time share meeting to get the prices on the menu otherwise everything is up charged. Even Guam wasn't as bad as villa de Palmer.

My stay at Villa Del PalmarPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: The Hotel is excellent and in a great location.
Cons: I think the internet should be free since it doesn't work all the time.
Location: I like the location because it's kind of secluded from everything else. Downtown is about a twenty minute drive.
While there we took the ferry to Isla Mujeres,It's a beautiful Island I recommend it to everyone. There's many other fun things to do that we didn't have time for like snorkeling, scuba diving, para sailing,we had a great time.I like it because it's a place for people of all ages.

Hotel staff was very friendlyPosted Jul 8, 2014
Hotel staff was very friendly and ready to help with anything. Time share presentation was 2 hour long but I don't feel pressure from them. If you are nice with them you get same treatment back. Food good, I like Davido restaurant they have bigger choise for breakfast . Very satisfied with my vacation.

Very secluded hotel on the north side of CancunPosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Very family oriented, daily shows, cleanliness, not crowded.
Cons: Sometimes we needed to wait a while for the restaurant to accommodate the party of 6 - need for reservation.
Location: Ferry to Isla Muheres, Travel agency on premises. Pickup and drop-off from the hotel. Multiple pools, nightly shows...
This hotel was perfect for a family vacation with kids and grandparents. The entire experience was excellent. It's a little on a more expensive side but the facilities, the room sizes, the cleanliness, etc... is worth it. Thinking that the hotel is a little isolated (it's to the north of Cancun next to the Isla Muheres ferry station) I rented a car but retroactively, I didn't really need to rent it - there were taxis lined up at the hotel door and the travel agency is within the hotel facilities. Overall, everything was at or beyond our expectations.
