The only thing that didnt work as well was the dinner options. We were told that all but the habachi were available to walk in without a reservation. But all others took reservations and subsequently had wait times of at least 45 minutes every night. The room service food was meh. Bring a cup (Yeti, Ozark, Stanley, etc.) to keep your drinks nice and cold. They will fill it for you without any issue. But overall, we enjoyed our time at this property.

We enjoyed our stay and would go back. Had a great experience seeing a sea turtle on the beach at early sunrise. Food was good, especially the pool pub food wagon and coffee shop. Make sure to try the Little Beer shots at the swim up bar.

Our favorite things about Valentín were the quality of food, drinks, and the staff. We loved the variety of restaurants and bars. The entertainment was great during the day and only okay at night. The property was clean but our room by day 3 felt pretty muggy. All my clothes (even if I didn’t wear them) ended up slightly damp, so a humidifier in the rooms would be nice. The main pool is a blast and we spent most of our time there. The beach is a bit rocky when you get in the water but that could have been from the recent hurricane. THE SERVICE here was outstanding. TLDR; compared to other resorts, their food, drinks, staff, and main pool are amazing. If those are your main concerns, book here!

The property was very nice. We were pleased with our room, which was an emerald suite. Service was good, although a bit slow, at some places such as the pool bar and the Mexican restaurant. my only complaint would be the long waits to be seated at dinner. We had a group of six and routinely had to wait an hour to an hour and a half to be seated.

Overall, this hotel was excellent! Very romantic and beautiful property! The food and entertainment was outstanding! There is a dress code for most restaurants and not much to do off the property nearby.

The stay at this resort was frustrating. When we first came, check-in process took about an hour where we felt that they were over-explaining. We also opted in for their private transportation service to and from the airport and the brochure said it would be charged directly to the room. Instead, they asked us to pay immediately which highlighted the contradictory back and forth experience we had all weekend. From there, we decided to go to a restaurant at around 7:30. Every restaurant told us there was at least a 45 minute wait even though there were open seats. For instance, one restaurant told us that there was a 45 minute wait for the large outside seating section when there were only one table being occupied. This was a consistent theme during the week long stay. We were frustrated with the inconsistent room service. The first two days were fine but they stopped coming for no reason. We left the "room service" indicator enabled on the door and no one came buy to change sheets, provide new towels, or fill the mini-fridge. We eventually had to walk to the Cafe to get bottled water and we ended up reusing towels over a few days. Lastly, on the way out, check out was fast and easy but the private transportation never showed up for some reason. Eventually, a person from the company that was supposed to take us, took us to the airport. All in all, this was a subpar experience that left a bad taste in our mouths.

This was my fifth visit to this beautiful resort. It is absolutely amazing from start to finish. Completely relaxing yet very entertaining. The food is absolutely great. Best Resort stay ever!!! Staff is amazing. Restaurants are exquisite. Entertainment is awesome. Met many guests that had been there 5-20 times. It was our first stay and we will definitely 100 percent be back.
