“I had a frustrating experience with this stay. As a first-time visitor to the area, I expected at least a general location or address ahead of time so I could plan my trip and know where I was heading. Unfortunately, the hosts refused to provide any address until right before check-in at 3PM.
While I understand safety and privacy concerns, not giving guests any sense of location in advance makes it very difficult to plan, especially when traveling to an unfamiliar city. It added unnecessary……

“This was a refurbished bunkhouse from an old cattle ranch. The remodeling was very well done, keeping as much historical architecture as possible, but providing modern functionality when needed. Your host, Robert, is a well-known artist who has provided a jacuzzi and sauna along with an art center that features work from local artists. Many hiking opportunities along with stargazing in the area. We'll be back!”

“To say that cactus was big is an understatement. It’s so big it probably charges the owners rent! Very clean and VERY quiet. We saw a lot of stars we normally don’t see. Huge deck allowing morning and evening sun. Nice and relaxing for coffee and wine. We literally did not see another person up there except on the road. It is a birder paradise and the ground squirrels frolicking was a kick. We will be back when visiting grandkids.”
