“This hotel is newer and very well kept. It smells nice and clean when you walk in! It’s close to the interstate- so you can hear the traffic a bit- but I just turned the fan on for white noise. The staff is very friendly, they have a WONDERFUL breakfast area with lots of choices! The staff person in the breakfast area is very helpful and is on top of everything, very clean! “The “cottage” was definitely not as advertised. It was rated well, which is very deceiving. It was dirty, dilapidated and the shower was something out of a horror movie. Mold had taken over. Expedia and VRBO should take a good hard look at how they vet their listed properties. But that was the good part. Approximately 11 pm, there was a knock at the front door. There were 3 gangbangers standing there expecting us to let them in. I yelled “occupied” out the door, they mumbled something and left....
