"Although ratings aren’t too good.Front office staff was nice. Lobby could be cleaner & also could the pool area & elevators. Hotel does need a few renovations. We had east access to the beach. My friends and I stay was great. Our hotel room was clean. We enjoyed our stay there for the 3 nights we book. Especially it being 4th of July weekend ! The area around was calm & beach was crowded but not overly crowded like other places were "

"We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful, the amenities were perfect for us (complimentary round of golf, massages available onsite at the spa, shopping both at the convenient store & boutique). Overall, we were very disappointed by the condition of our room. The room smelled of mildew and years of smoking. Unfortunately, all of our belongings grabbed ahold of the smell as well as soon as we entered the room. There were multiple spots of visible black mold on the walls and ceiling near the air conditioning unit and in the bathroom. The shower had no curtain whatsoever so when it was used, the floor flooded. You could not have clean clothing in the bathroom for dressing as they would be drenched. The carpet looks original to the construction of the building. The rooms certainly require an update. While I understand we were there for the beach, a comfortable environment to relax in the evening is also a must! I’m not sure what conditions the rooms on the other floors looked like, but the 9th floor certainly did not match the images posted on their website. We had the 80’s version with crusty carpet, moldy walls, smoke filled room. We were very conflicted by our stay. Once we left our room, we felt we were satisfied with the environment. We also never used the pool(s). They were very small and over crowded by the massive amount of people staying there. Kids running everywhere unattended did not make for a relaxing time."
