“Great ”

“Beautiful hotel located in the heart of the town's main strip. Staff is very friendly, and street parking wasn't difficult (on a weekday). Although the room wasn't as updated as the stunningly renovated lobby/bar or tasty restaurant, the old fixtures and furniture only added to the charm. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and there was free coffee and homemade donuts in the morning! Would return!!”

“I was a 3rd generation Leadvillain, but we recently had to sell the family house in town. Staying here is the closest thing to being home in Leadville. Awesome community every time I go here with people out doing incredible things in one of the world's premier outdoor destinations. I always have so much fun here and feel so relaxed. This most recent time I stayed before running the Leadville 100. Met lots of other runners and people hiking the Colorado Trail. Hanging with them helped me relax……

“Motel itself is old, outdated but room was clean so it was ok to stay for 1-2 nights. The floor was leaning in a little bit so kind of weird to walk on it, no common area either. It was a convenient location since we came there to hike. Note: you get a code from the owner at 11am or after on your day check in so make sure you will have access to your emails!”

“The property was a multiplex accommodation which was an unexpected discovery during the check-in procedure as it was not made clear in the advertising. The unit was reasonably clean as should be expected, but extraordinarily high fees were added to this rental by not only the management company (expected), but Expedia, and Vrbo as well, the companies marketing this property. Please be aware that these fees are added before any occupancy, and then the renter is responsible for cleaning the place……

“The house is very old, old furniture and carpet with uncomfortable beds. One bathroom at the back of the kitchen in house. Up steep stairs to two other bedrooms which was hot with poor air circulation. Not worth the money.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Bear Cabin. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked in everything you need. The views are mesmerizing. I highly recommend it.”
