“Pick this place. It's right on the river, you can hear the water. We got a room with a kitchenette, has everything but an oven. Everything you need to cook, just bring your own food. We didn't eat out once, we grilled all the time. Packed picnics for hiking. Grocery store close. Awesome grills- 1 with propane, or another if you want to bring your own charcoal. “Castle Mountain Lodge was a great place to stay. We stayed in the Castle Glen cabin over Christmas week and really enjoyed our time. Even without snow or elk sightings, the cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway. The location is quiet but still close to town, and everything was exactly as expected. Staff was friendly and helpful, and we had fresh wood each day. We had a fun stay and would absolutely come back again.”
