“I stayed for 4 nights and had a truck with trailer hauling my side by side and a disabled Vet asked where is could park. With that the lady showed me and I parked there. The next day there was a truck parked at the end to me no big deal I parked as close as I could and was out of the way. The manager asked me to move because I was blocking EV parking but the EV parking was on the other side 4 spots with signs when I showed them they said they could park where I was which had no signs. To finish……

“The only resemblance was the lay out of the room. The bed was well made but not sure if the sheets were freshly washed or used because they were wrinkly. The couch and ottoman had old stains on them , very dated and no AC. My husband and I were bit by spiders a few times at night. Although we only slept there more care could be taken by property owners. I understand it’s a mountain town but it shouldn’t look run down”

“The property was easy to access and clean when we got into our room. There is no elevator in this hotel but the stairs were easy enough to navigate. The hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful from the moment We walked in the door until the time we walked out. However, no ice machine was on the second floor where we stayed. So having to navigate the stairs after a long drive wasn’t rest. Lastly, there was a sign about cleaning in the rooms and an extra cost of the room towels. There were……

“The Riverside Meadows cabin was a delight. It sits right on a stretch of the Rio Grande river and is ideal for those seeking a quiet spot. The cabin itself is well-designed and, although it has a vintage look on the outside, it is completely modern and comfortable. The owners - Fritz & Paula - built the cabins themselves (as well as the main house where they live) and they did a great job. It was clean, well-furnished and very comfortable on the inside. “This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs……

“Super easy check in, great communication, ready place to find in the middle of town. Room was small but nit terrible, had microwave, fridge utensils etc. Only negative is it could use grab bars in the shower.”

“This place was so quiet, peaceful and CLEAN! The bathhouse was spotless and so was the cabin! The beds were in their own category of comfortable! Close to Creede and just a short, pretty walk down to the river. The owners were so personable and hospitable! 10/10 and definitely plan to return!”

“I loved the historic pictures of Creede in the halls and the antique decor. The Inn was cleaned daily and supplies were available for doing laundry (at no extra cost). Chocolate chip cookies were a sweet touch. I will definitely stay here again.”
