"So cute! Only a few blocks away from the lake. The Dollar General is 30 seconds walk. While yes there is a fire dept the tones aren't bad at all. The fire pit is awesome, but bring your bug spray!"

"My Family had a great stay at the Pondhouse. Diane was a fantastic host. Highly recommend. The house is adorable, clean and had all the amenities that we could need for a stay away from home. Lake Luzerne is an adorable town with fun historical sites and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Great spot for peace and quiet. The Pondhouse was so quiet. Fun to take the kayaks out in the early morning and watch the Herons catch their breakfast. Just what we needed. Many thanks for lovely memories. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Place was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen and grill were handy to make meals so we didn't have to eat out. Fire pit was perfect to relax and enjoy. "

"Great place to stay. There were four of us and it was about perfect with having one bathroom. Two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are there for use. But plenty of room if you brought your own. I would recommend bringing your kitchen essentials (spices, oil, condiments) as there aren’t really any there. Easy walk to the beach across the road. Road is 45 mph so people are hustling on the road but you can see a good half mile or more in each direction. Driveway is steep and not a ton of room, make sure your e-brake works!"

You could tell that a lot of thought and care went into planning what should be put in there, like laundry detergent, extra towels and tea & coffee. We greatly appreciate how wonderful the host was.
