“The location of this spot of very unique! Our teen boys really enjoyed kayaking the bay and caught lots of fish close to the house. We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the area. I do wish I knew ahead of time that you need to bring your own water for cooking. There is water at the bathhouse and camper but both are lake water. We had to run into town to get water for cooking so that we didn’t use all of our drinking water and it was a bit inconvenient not knowing ahead.The outside shower did……

“Perfect place to relax, unwind. The lake is overwhelming beautiful. You won't want to leave. It has a little something for everyone at all ages. It's both for indoor and outdoor people. Can't wait to book again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed cabin. It truly had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Even with the snow falling, we spent our evenings building cozy fires in the outdoor pit and enjoying the hot tub. When we weren't outside, the basement TV made for perfect movie nights. The highlights of our trip, however, were the breathtaking sunsets over the lake, which we watched daily from the spacious living room. The property offered incredible privacy and a serene quietness……

“Second night stay, room smelled like sewage. Got a second room and bathroom had sewage smell. The gym equipment is broken and barely works. Cables snapped off. Should Not advertise fitness room If the equipment doesn’t work or isn’t maintained. Staff was excellent and food is good. Would stay again but prefer rooms that smell good. ”

“Brockville Best Western was a good experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The building has been recently purchased, so the u[grades are still being done. The rooms are clean (no bugs) and well supplied.”

“This a sadly neglected gorgeous old building. It felt like staying at someone's grandma's house. Dust, cobwebs, generally dirty, previous guest's food crumbs on the kitchen floor, dispensers in the shower completely empty, no milk and cream in the fridge as advertised. Passive aggressive garish signage about the "rules" all over the room and property. Way overpriced. Only redeeming quality is location. ”

“The whole experience was perfect. Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. ”
