"This property was just what we needed for our family vacation in Alex Bay! The house was big enough for our dog kennel and the yard was great for him to run on a tether. It was within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and boat docks. From the lookout point you could see Bolt Castle. It was perfect!"

"Nice place to stay with terrific water views. The room comes with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well. At least when we stayed, check in and breakfast were nearby at the Gran View Inn (sister property), so not the most convenient - and the breakfast wasn't anything terrific, but the location definitely has a nice view and setting, along with all the other aspects we like in a place. Would we stay here again? Probably, esp if it's cheaper than the two nearby places closer to Ogdensburg. We enjoyed it."

It was fully stocked with everything you might need, including linens, towels, and even thoughtful extras like shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, making meal prep easy and eliminating the need to bring a lot of extras from home.The quality of the furniture and amenities stood out—it’s clear the owners take pride in offering a comfortable and welcoming space. We were even contacted during our stay to ensure everything was going well, which we really appreciated.The access to the river was easy and ideal for swimming. The small island just out front provided a bit of shelter, making the water calm and enjoyable. Watching all the different boats pass by was so entertaining, and seeing the massive shipping vessels glide so quietly through the water was truly mind-blowing.The area itself offered great convenience. A nearby store had everything we needed, and the local visitor center made for a peaceful morning walk and coffee stop. All in all, this was a perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable vacation. We would absolutely return!"

"Gorgeous house in a gorgeous area. The place was clean and well-furnished, and the location made it easy to access activities like restaurants and Boldt Castle. My only comment: the wifi is very slow, too slow to load even images quickly, so this isn’t WFH-friendly. "

"The area was beautiful. We enjoyed the quiet nights and being on the water. The living area was big and gave us room. There were some maintenances, that needed to be done that one shower wasn't working and wasn't told to us. There were light bulbs out, no covers on the electrical outlets, doors that won't close and the garbage disposal didn't work. Little things that would help with the look of the place. We did enjoy our stay, everyone was wonderful. "
