"I was surprised that the reviews did not mention that this hotel is much more like a motel , and not in a good section of town . I was expecting more of a boutique hotel from the photos and the way the comments were written up by others . I was surprised by the garbage outside the property and in the patio area . I was not comfortable in this place and do not recommend it to others."

"The property is eclectic but highlights are the great pool and enormous hot tub. Staff are attentive and friendly. As they are transitioning they currently offer free breakfast and a meaningful discount on drinks and food in the bar/restaurant If you appreciate a bit of funky character and great staff it is a great value for the location "

"My night's stay was brief and didn't have time to enjoy luxuries provided. But, in the end my stay was wonderful. Room was very clean and nice. Attend concert nearby at Arizona Financial Theater close walk. Sound room slept well. "

"The hotel is under construction which we were never told about prior to booking. Open construction tarps allowed drywall dust to blow everywhere, including to breakfast dining area. Within 5 minutes of being in our room I discovered the bathroom sink was clogged. We were given a new room which was better but the sound of the jackhammer still rose to the fourth floor. Pool area patio has chipped gravel all over. In summary, do not stay at this Fairfield by Marriott. It’s a mess!"
