“I recently stayed at Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown and had a disappointing experience. Check in was at 4 pm, but when we arrived at 4:10, one of our two rooms was still not ready. No one informed us when it became available, we had to follow up ourselves. The staff overall were rude and unhelpful. One room faced the highway, making it very noisy at night, and the smoke alarm kept beeping. Calls to the front desk went unanswered. The next day, we were told room service required 24……

“The property is falsely advertised as a bed and breakfast. It even says “bed and breakfast” on the entrance, and the rate is higher than other properties in the neighborhood. But it’s a sham, there is no breakfast, there is no staff on site to clean your room or change the towels, and the owner is full of crap when you complain. Do yourself a favor and look for another place to stay. Don’t take my word for it- look at reviews going back to 2024 calling them out on this. ”

“The hotel is older so you need to know that I order to set the right expectations. One elevator. However it is super convenient to everything in downtown St Pete. One block from the water. One block from Saturday Farmer’s Market. Attached to the building are restaurants and bars. The nightlife of St Pete is all within walking distance. So if you want a nice cozy place and don’t mind a little older property this is a great place. Just one thing to note…. Hot water in the shower takes time to……

“Well when I arrived it was not what I expected. Not on the inside anyway. This is the type of hotel where most of the rooms are taken up by people who live there. It was a little sketchy when I pulled up I went into the office and spoke to Ms tammy. She was wonderful very polite let me know if I had any problems to let her know because they will not put up with any loud noise or anything. After entering the room it was very dirty.
