"We stayed four nights. Really great location in the middle of Manhattan, just a couple blocks from the Empire State Building and across the street from MSG. There’s a subway station entrance on the same corner as the hotel so easy to get around town from the hotel. Requested and paid for a metro view but mostly just had a view of the next door building wall with a sliver of skyline view if you looked at JUST the right angle. So that was disappointing. Rooms are small but that is typical for NYC so we expected that. The hotel was built in the 1920s so it’s not shiny and new but that adds to the charm. The lobby is beautiful especially decorated for Christmas like it was when we were there. Maybe a weird thing to mention but the shower/water pressure is amazing. It was the best thing about the room itself! Will definitely stay there again when/if we return. "
