“We had a wonderful stay in this cozy spot overlooking the mountains. We were only in town for a day, so our visit was short but sweet. Thanks for your generous hospitality! ”

“Our family vacation was almost ruined by poor property management! It was obvious that the unit was not fit for anyone to stay at! The water heater was removed from the wall and was sitting in the dining area leaking water. There was a dehumidifier that was left on top of the counter with a hose attached to it in the sink. The first person that we spoke to from Vacasa, the property management, was of no help. She told us that our unit and the unit below had water leakage! We asked to be moved to……

“This place was ok. Not great, not terrible. It was surface clean but needs a deep cleaning. The furniture is in need of replacing throughout the whole condo. Great location, quiet area, but it’s time to let the 80’s go and buy some new stuff”

“Very convenient location for skiers. Parking is a little tight during high occupancy times, but after all it is in the mountains. Would stay there again for sure. ”

“Nicely appointed small apartment. One bedroom and a murphy bed in the den/living room. Keurig and coffee maker. Good Wifi. Parking for Sugar Mountain is very close. We were able to get a parking spot right near the lodge because it is so close. Owners are great and explained things well and timely. Thanks for the great stay!”

“The property was run down outside and inside. Not very clean stove top was greasy clumps of hair under the couch. Something splattered on the baseboards in the bathroom. Deck looked like it should be condemned. Pictures are deceiving of this property does not show true scope of size or condition. We were kept up all night by a barking dog and bumping noises in the unit above us. We checked out a day early and came home. ”

“A bit hard to find, glad it was daylight when we arrived! We were in the area to visit small towns of NC. Many not terribly far from this location! Banner Elk, Boone, Grandfather, Seven Devils, and Blue Ridge ParkwayFreshest air you could breathe! Comfortable living room furniture, and plenty spacious for two. ”

“This was a hard review to write. Technically, everything was presented as listed. However, there were no extra blankets and it took the unit a long time to warm up after arriving to thermostats set at 55, outdoor temp was 15 with an overnight low of 10. The beds only had sheets and a thin coverlet, burrr. The beds need some attention. The king mattress has obvious indentations , like you basically look at it made and see exactly where the “other” bodies laid lol. The bunk bed was so loud ,……
