"Everything was great. The only two things I would want changed are the music that's played in the lobby and the rooftop bar and the sliding bathroom door. The music was stuff I didn't recognize and was just hard to follow along with, just very strange. The sliding bathroom door was really heavy and I wrenched by back trying to close it."

"We stayed at this hotel for the UT / Bama football game so prices all over the city are INSANE but compared to other places this hotel was somewhat reasonable. We had a great stay and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was an added bonus and had a good spread. The location is also perfect - just a block off of Market Square and another to Gay street which makes it easy getting in and out of downtown. We actually walked back to the hotel / area after the football game which is the main reason why we wanted to stay downtown. There are only a few minor issues for knocking off one star - the rooms are small, there are no dressers / shelves to put folded clothing, and the sink drained slowly. The only other item is the parking but we did not find this to be a negative - it is not on site but is across the street and half a block down (very close though). When loading and unloading there are only a few spots directly in front of the hotel but you need to make sure you put on your flashers since it is a loading zone. There is a microwave and min-frig in the room too. Thank you for a great stay!"

"We enjoyed a spacious room that was quiet and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. Easy walking distance to downtown Knoxville and a surprising number of interesting places to visit. We enjoyed a show at the Bijou Theater and a nightcap at the Peter Kern Library, which is a speakeasy at the Oliver hotel. Everything about our experience in Knoxville was wonderful."
