Top Keystone Hotel Reviews
Super 8 by Wyndham Keystone/Mt. Rushmore
"The staff was friendly. It is an older hotel but pretty clean. They have their own parking lot. The spaces are small. If you check in late, the only spots that are left are on the ends and a little tricky to park in."
Holy Smoke Resort
"Heard helicopters in the day but stopped at night."
Quality Inn Keystone near Mount Rushmore
"The ramp to the 2nd floor was very steep."
Powder House Lodge
"We stayed here on a family vacation. The rooms were clean and staff were very helpful. There was a restaurant onsite that had great food and hotel was very close to all places we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this hotel!"
The Brookside Motel Keystone Near Mt Rushmore
"Very helpful staff. Clean room. Older buildings but maintained well. Breakfast was what I expected for a hotel breakfast. Very quiet. Had no issues."
Rushmore Express Keystone
"Hotel was nice but definitely dated. Carpet was coming up in the elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hot tub was closed for the duration of our 5 night stay. Breakfast was decent. For the five mornings we had breakfast, they had eggs only twice. The days they did not have eggs, there were biscuits and gravy. Every day, there was sausage, bread for toast with spreads, some form of prepackaged baked item (mini donuts, muffins, etc), cereal, milk, and yogurt. Coffee and juice. Basic rooms had outdoor doors, suites had interior doors. Decent parking but limited and may be difficult to park if visiting in peak season."
Keystone Boardwalk Inn and Suites
"I intentionally booked a room here because its location is relatively close to Mt. Rushmore, which is about 6 miles away. Situated right on the Keystone boardwalk, the 1880 Train is a 5 minute walk. Plus, with a car rental, all the places I wanted to visit were within 15 - 35 minutes drive - Crazy Horse, Hill City, Custer and Custer State Park, Norbeck Scenic Loop, etc. Bed was very comfortable. Different types of pillows from very soft to hard. Plenty of room within the room. Microwave and small fridge. Crushed ice machine on ground level. Large mirror over sink and enough counter space around sink. Shower is a bit dated with straight curtain rod. Appreciated the rubber lines in the tub shower to prevent slipping. I did not notice whether there was an elevator to get to the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms. My room was on 2nd floor so I used the stairs to carry up/down my carry-on luggage. Parking right in front of rooms. The overflow parking was right next door if you arrive late while staying there. The front desk issues you a parking sign when you check in and you leave it on your car's dash. I used the rocking chairs on the front porch twice to just chill. Very relaxing. Jason manned the front desk when I checked in. Very friendly and helpful. I liked staying here. I also felt safe as a solo traveller."
Foothills Inn
"Good value for the cost. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Complimentary breakfast was adequate, would have liked fresh fruit and yogurt."
Ramada by Wyndham Keystone Near Mt Rushmore
"Great location. Very close to Mt Rushmore. Lots of places to eat or grab a drin. Walking distance. Mt Rushmore 7 minutes away."
