"This hotel is a great start to a great idea but they fall a bit short of a true restoration/revival of this historic old building. The grounds are a mess and badly in need of an overhaul. Also, some basic music in the common areas would add to some kind of vibe (whether chill current music or general music of the period). It is totally silent and kind of empty. So, if they were able to really put the capital into making this at least a near-luxury hotel or kitschy boutique one, they’d have a hit. In current form, it was boring. Also, I will say that the excuse for a breakfast was one of the worst meals we were ever served. The gentleman at the front desk was great."
