"This place surpassed our expectations! The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The property was amazing. Sitting on the porch and hearing the water moving in the creek was so very relaxing. The owners were so helpful and we really enjoyed visiting with them when they stopped by to milk their cow. The weather wasn’t ideal but it did not interfere with the experience. Would definitely like to book again."

"This property is so charming! Cabin has a neat history and the quartz and mineral fireplace was beautiful! I had a group of ladies stay to celebrate my bday. There is an option to have people camp outside for a small fee if your party is bigger than what the cabin accommodates. We didn’t get to float bc it had rained so much beforehand but there are options to float right to the cabin and things to do in the area like Onondaga state park. "The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!"

"The house was just as described. This was the second time we stayed in one of their homes. The only issue I have, and this prevented me from 5 stars, was we arrived a little after the check in time, and the owners (I am assuming), were there outside and before check out time, they drove by (this was a dead end street). This made us a bit nervous and irritated."

"We were in Rolla to stay at this fabulous house for an elopement/wedding at Gabel Cabins in Salem, Mo. We loved the property, one small hiccup but resolved asap. This home is gorgeous and almost every single thing you need is here and some you might not expect. The setup is fantastic, their communication is immediate and down to earth nicest ever people. Choose this one!"

"The wife and I have made three trips to the area and have stayed at Gill Ridge. Twice at Koi Pond and once at Ellens cabin. The properties are always clean and stocked with plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen cookware. Lots of firewood for the fire pit and grills for outside cooking. Nothing beats laying in your hot tub aftef dark under the stars! Plenty of places to eat in the area and things to do for all ages. We will be back again for our next weekend get away."
