“Bed was hard as a rock. The owner was rude to my dad over a deposit then changed his mind about it after seeing us. Was repeatedly going to call about changing locks but never did during a holiday weekend and I barely slept the entire time there despite using sleeping pills and alcohol. Hotel was too close to the road making any vehicle going by another way to wake us up. Was a horrible stay and will not recommend.”

“Front desk check was a breeze. Very friendly staff. Our king room was very clean! Breakfast was adequate, I liked the fact they had trays to take back to the room. Would stay there again.”

“The pull out couch mattress was flat and disgustingly dirty. Staff did put a new mattress on top after a lot of discussion. My sister’s room would not lock and she had to move her things into my room every time we left. The outer door to the hotel also did not lock, so anyone could enter the hotel at any time. The “breakfast” was a choice of 2 cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, &/or a banana. With cheap, wrapped “pastries” on the side. Coffee (which ran out), juice or milk (which also ran out).……

“I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from……

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite dated but clean. Refrigerator worked but it had to be held closed. There was no breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good. There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant. All in all, not a bad motel but probably wouldn’t……

“I broke a bone in my foot on the way to Milwaukee. Upon arriving, I could barely walk and couldn’t stand the pain and foot continued swelling. We were there a total of 15 minutes and needed to check out so I could go to urgent care and head home. The front desk was of zero help and no partial refund was given.”

“This is a fantastic bed and breakfast! Words like cute and quaint do not describe how great this location is and how good the owners are taking care of guests. Exceptionally clean rooms, phenomenal freshly cooked food and a beautiful property. This is a location to visit when traveling through Wisconsin! I can not say enough positive things about this experience.”

“We were staying just 1 night for a Brewer game! American Family Field was just 20 min easy drive. Hotel was clean and offered complimentary breakfast. We would stay here again”

“The positive: we liked the location. The negatives: the room had a strongly bad odor when we arrived and never got better. The bathroom floor and toilet were dirty. There was only one bracket where there was supposed to be a towel rack. Needs a new shower head(was not really adjustable) and shower curtain. It looked like they were attempting to fix up the front entrance with gardening items, but it was junky looking.”

“Appears to be in transition. I'm a local resident and stayed for a week during home repairs. It's not posted on Expedia that we are charged $250 authorization for incidentals versus the $100 they authorize others. As I've worked in hotels in this area for over 10 years', this was very odd to me. I always felt like we were being watched when I wasn't problematic and gave no issues during my stay. I worked nearby and chose this hotel because I used to work for a Country Inn, they always have great……

“The property was clean nice little town, the hotel was more a bed and breakfast. No amenities to offer , no staff on site past 7pm and no one arrives until 12pm. We were unaware and fortunate that we arrived early enough that someone was there to explain the system they use. Front door automatically locks and you need code. Same for room you need code. If no staff available you would have a hard time”
