" Staff is great. Cleanliness great. Bars great. Ambiance great. Views amazing. The only negative were the room's fearures wasn't working. My initial room had sheer drapes that didn't open. 2nd room has lights that didn't work. 3rd room was good until a few hours in. The sheer drapes didn't close. But I understand things malfunction. The hotel was very accommodating. I will visit again. "

"This hotel is the worst in the universe. The rooms are incredibly ugly and poorly maintained; they haven't fixed anything in 25 years. It was a huge disappointment. I ended up with some incredibly loud women next to mine who were partying all night. When I told the hotel to ask them to keep their voices down at midnight, they just told me to be patient because it was someone's birthday. I went to this hotel for 17 years of my life and then stopped going for 10. And it's still the same as it was 27 years ago, everything the same: curtains, beds, headboards, paint, old and old. "I love where it is located across from central park. I do not like the hustle of time square. Lovely property, spacious rooms. Very clean and friendly staff. It is centric and near shopping. Room service was very good and quick. Love the views from my room."
