"Nice room but very tiny! Desk staff was lively and fun! Diner in the lobby was not good, coffee was terrible."

"Room was spotlessly clean, well arranged for the space, huge shower, toilet room separate from sink and shower. Helpful, professional staff. On a nice block. Would stay again. Special shout out to Brennan for his hospitality."

"The hotel itself is great. The room is spacious. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly. There is rooftop restaurant called the Purple Room with a magnificent view. The only problem I had was not with the hotel but its location. The hotel is situated near a lot of bars, eateries and two of the nights I was there at 3-4 in the morning there was a lot of loud noise coming from obnoxious people in the street. I had to call the manager and ask him to call the police twice. Just beware. "

"My friends and I stayed in the two bunk room and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious enough for 4 girls, and the beds were surprisingly comfy. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to the city!"

"I was disappointed with my stay. For a 4-star hotel, the room was very run down—peeling mirror and wallpaper, a stain on the bedspread. There was also construction outside the hotel that continued past midnight. I booked a king room but received a room with two double beds. I couldn’t reach the front desk when I needed help, and no one asked about my stay at checkout. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The Lombardy is a residential hotel. Therefore all the rooms are different. Some are really nice and others are super dated. Be sure to ask for a modern room! The staff is really lovely. The location can not be beat if you are looking for midtown east convenience. I would absolutely go back! "
