"Breakfast and staff was awesome. Lodging needs attention as it’s looking a little weary these days. Check in was not optimal…one room was ready by 4pm but the other room wasn’t ready for another 1.5 hours due to a staffing shortage issues. Outside cushions in fire pit area need to be cleaned and rotated regularly. Could see dog hairs on them. Several staff members couldn’t communicate with clients as they didn’t speak English."

"A friend of mine and I zipped over to Monterey for a quick weekend trip. We decided to stay at the Martine Inn after looking at the photos online. We both love old Victorian style bed-and-breakfast, and this one did not disappoint! I could just feel the history in this dwelling! Not to mention, I thoroughly enjoyed all the antiques, the views, and the breakfasts! I will be taking my husband back there in the near future for a getaway!"
